I am from Aurora, Illinois. Though I started out as an easily scared kid, I found horror stories more fascinating as I grew older. Many of my favorite popular horror stories deal with ghosts and abandoned places. I also have a lifelong interest in looking at maps and imagining what my life would be like if I lived in other places or times.
The Shadow School is my first novel and the first thing I’ve written that I’ve officially published.
